A fast-paced platformer set in everyone's favourite location, the beach. Escape the sandcastle by jumping on floating platforms, but be careful! It is filling up with water!
Challenges and new things I learned:
This was my first attempt at platforming in a game I was developing, and thus it was quite exciting to implement a physics based third person character controller with appropriate clipping free camera controls. It definitely taught me not to rely too much on physics because it's not the most exact system in Unity. That's what game dev is about, though; finding what doesn't work is often more fun than programming something that does.
